Built by a division of Toyota, this Hijet Jumbo manual 4×4 Mini Truck is perfect if you’re looking for a little more space and a lot more comfort than your typical UTV. That extended cab with its extra headroom means you’ve got room behind the seats for gear that needs to stay dry, but also greater seat adjustability which is just what you need if you’re on the taller side. (Yes, 6’3″ 300lb guys, this Jumbo has you covered.) Despite this, you’ve still got a very long over 6 foot bed with drop sides that makes loading easy on the back. Engine & powertrain
This Hijet Jumbo manual 4×4 Mini Truck has a 660cc KF-series three-cylinder engine, mounted low under the cab for stability and a lower center of gravity. More sophisticated than a typical UTV engine, it runs on gasoline and has electronic fuel injection for over 35 MPG fuel economy (almost double that of a regular UTV) and such quiet running that you can use it around highly strung livestock without any issue. Maximum torque kicks in at 4,000 rpm so it has more than enough for any hauling or climbing tasks you throw at it.
This one comes with a 5-speed manual transmission with selectable hi-lo range, as well as a locking rear diff and selectable 4WD. Whether you’re needing absolute control as you descend a slippery slope, or the smooth application of the most torque to get a fully loaded trailer moving, is the perfect transmission option for you.
Interior & comfort
The spacious weatherproof cab has standard air conditioning, heat, and a defroster as standard to keep things comfortable in any season. Whatever your size, you’ll find the adjustable seats help you get comfortable right away. The bed floor measures 6 feet 6 inches long at the base of the cab, so a little shorter than the regular cab models but still giving you lots of space, and a lot more than regular UTVs. It’s just over 4 feet 7 inches wide and about 11 inches deep, perfect for carrying tools, fence posts, feed bags or whatever with ease. All three sides fold down—tailgate and both sides—for easy access and flexible loading and the bed’s only a little more than 2 feet above the ground, making fr the perfect set up to keep the load on your back to a minimum. With a 1,500 lb load capacity, this Jumbo could be the perfect off-road partner you need.
